Supplies

Wood Box
Pattering tape
Acrylic paint
Paint Bruch
Vinyl
Transfer Paper
Cricut machine

Take your tape and start tapping your design, I decided to start from the bottom and paint inside of the lid. Make shure you press the tape down a few times so that its flush against the Wood.

Now it's time to paint! When the paint is completely dry remove the tape. Now cover the inside edges of the lid with tape and paint it. I didn’t want to paint the cover on the outside but you can make the design you want.

Now it's time to make our sticker on vinyl. We just have to prepare our phrase or message in cricut app, cut it and remove vinyl excess. Then use the transfer paper to stick on the vinyl and then slowly peel back to remove from sticky sheet.

Finally, place the sticker in the center of the back cover and we are ready to fill the boxes with all the beautiful details you can find. Your friends will be totally in love.

¡Hola!

Hello! Today's DIY is loaded with memories of my childhood, our uncle Angel a.k.a. Tío Cuchito brought us matrioskas from Russia, my sisters and I loved them and we played with them all the time. They are beautiful and make the perfect theme for a birthday party or baby shower.

Matrioskas are the iconic Russian dolls, made of wood and they carry multiple dolls inside, the same doll in different sizes that fit one inside the other, although they are originally have from Japanese culture when you think about Russia you think about thier famous dolls.

In this post I am going to give you the step by step to make the most beautiful Matrioska piñata! Can it be more pretty and cooler?

Materials

Cardboard

Crepe paper (colors of your choise)

Scissors

Tape

Glue

Pencil

Knife

Cutting rule

Colored paper or paperboard

Flowers template

Cricut / Siluette (optional)

How to do it?

• Draw and cut the contour of the dall twice. And then cut two strips 2.5 inches wide and make slots with the blade to be able to adapt them to the shape of the dall.

• Start by gluing one of the strips to the sides of the dall with tape. When you finish, continue with the other side and then do the same with the second cardboard dall shape.

• Cut the crepe paper spacing 1.5 inches starting from fringe of the bottom, take this pieces and make cuts to ¾ of to the top of each one.

• Starting from the bottom of the piñata, stick the crepe paper strips to the cardboard doll and continue gluing layers making sure to overlap them so that the cardboard doesn’t show. Continue until everything is covered. I used two colors to give it the shape of the Matrioska.

• Finally cut and assemble the flowers to decorate, stick them with silicon.

Ready to fill your piñata with sweets and enjoy it, or simply use it as a decoration on the backdrop.

Boho Spring Table - Mesa Bohemia de Primavera

3/28/2019

free printable invitation, menu card, place cards, boho spring brunch, lunch, party, entertainment, tabletop, tablescape, table setting, bohemian

It´s not a surprise fo you that I love beautiful tables, any opportunity to gather friends and create a beautiful themed table you can call me cause I will say yes! Especially when I have the chance to play with the theme: in this case Boho-Sping, total freedom!

Table:

Tablescape is the most important and fun part of creating a process for any event.

Macrame is the protagonist of the table, from napkins holder to table runner, nothing more bohemian than those macrame details. I also love mixing pieces, there is charm and magic when you match different things, don’t you think? Mixing designs and colors. A perfectly balanced table with color accents and the perfect table runner with a colorful centerpiece and personalized stationery, details such as sorbets and drink stirrers, glasses and silverware, small details that will make your table memorable.

Color palette:

A Bohemian-Spring color scheme of green, pink and mustard yellow tones combining elements in earth tones.

Table runner:

As I told you, I made a macrame table runner and filled it with details. A playful centerpiece with lots of color, tropical plants and succulents.

Flowers:

I decided to use sunflowers, antirrhinum or pink dragon mouths, yellow chrysanthemums and foliage to add some greenery.

Stationery:

As always the beautiful stationery that I used can be downloaded for free at La Lilú.

I loved this Bruch table setting! don’t you?
