This kids piñata project is so easy and fun, anyone can do it! Once you make one, you’ll be surrounded by mini piñatas
One of my favorite things about Halloween is using recycled materials for decorations and holiday decor.
Use a toilet paper roll and some crepe paper to make the cutest Halloween kids craft ever: DIY mini mummy piñatas. You’ll love finding out what’s inside this toilet paper roll mummy! These cuties can also be used for Birthday parties.
· toilet paper tube
· googly eyes
· white crepe paper streamer
· double-sided tape
· scrapbook paper bats
· baker’s twine
· small toys and candy
STEPS
Place the googly eyes.
Apply tape to the edge of tube and use to secure a piece of the streamer in place. Add a little paper bat at the end, this is what kids will pull to release their prizes.
Gather a few small toys and candy pieces to fit in the mini piñata. Don’t pack it too tightly or the prizes won’t fall out easily when the string is pulled.
Cover the other end of the tube just like you did before.
Wrap the crepe paper around the tube until completely covered, securing with glue at the end. Don´t cover the eyes to create some space for the googly eyes. And that’s it!
